Our history

Chemistry is the basis of our company since its foundation in 1964 as Formol y Resinas, S.A. (Foresa). As its name indicates, we are mainly producers of formaldehyde and adhesives with a long experience in the wood sector, which together with our commitment to constant innovation has made us, more than a supplier, a strategic partner for our customers and suppliers.

Foresa is part of the multinational group Finsa, and we currently have production centres in Spain, Portugal and France.

Foresa’s plants are strategically located in Spain, France and Portugal to guarantee fast service and efficient technical support to our customers throughout the region.

Spain
Caldas de Reis (Pontevedra) is Foresa’s shared services centre. Here you will find our headquarters, our production facilities and our technology centre FORESA TECHNOLOGIES.
Nearby, in the port of Ferrazo (Vilagarcía de Arousa), is our chemical terminal for bulk liquids.
