A presen\u00e7a de um elevado n\u00famero de parceiros industriais torna o projeto altamente intersetorial. No entanto, a Europa tem muitas empresas qu\u00edmicas l\u00edderes a n\u00edvel mundial.<\/p><hr \/><p><strong>Objetivo:<\/strong><\/p><p>Os res\u00edduos lignocelul\u00f3sicos s\u00e3o um dos recursos mais abundantes que n\u00e3o competem com a cadeia alimentar. Os 16 parceiros do REHAP t\u00eam como objetivo a revaloriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos res\u00edduos agr\u00edcolas (palha de trigo) e florestais (material lenhoso) atrav\u00e9s da sua recupera\u00e7\u00e3o, tanto dos processos prim\u00e1rios (a\u00e7\u00facares, lignina, taninos) como secund\u00e1rios (\u00e1cidos de a\u00e7\u00facar, \u00e1cidos carbox\u00edlicos, arom\u00e1ticos e resinas), tendo em conta as constru\u00e7\u00f5es ecol\u00f3gicas como ramo de atividade. O projeto permitir\u00e1 reduzir a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos f\u00f3sseis em 80-100%, bem como a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de energia e as emiss\u00f5es de CO2 em mais de 30%. Especificamente, ser\u00e3o obtidos blocos de constru\u00e7\u00e3o (1,4- e 2,3-butanodiol, \u00e9ster de poliol), materiais (PUs, resinas fen\u00f3licas, lignina de hidr\u00f3lise modificada) e produtos (pain\u00e9is de madeira, espumas isolantes, cimento, cola):<\/p><ul><li>Taninos e hidratos de carbono de res\u00edduos florestais com vista a convert\u00ea-los em resinas biofen\u00f3licas para pain\u00e9is de madeira e poliuretanos isentos de isocianato (PU) para espumas isolantes, respetivamente.<\/li><li>Lignina e hidratos de carbono de res\u00edduos agr\u00edcolas com vista a convert\u00ea-los em resinas biofen\u00f3licas para pain\u00e9is de madeira e superplastificantes bio para cimento, e \u00e9ster de poliol bio para colas, respetivamente.<\/li><li>Ser\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m desenvolvidas ligninas ign\u00edfugas e aditivos \u00e0 base de a\u00e7\u00facar.<\/li><\/ul><p>As tecnologias de processamento desenvolvidas (qu\u00edmica\/t\u00e9rmica\/enzim\u00e1tica e fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o) ser\u00e3o otimizadas \u00e0 escala piloto (TRL6-7) para uma maior explora\u00e7\u00e3o e replica\u00e7\u00e3o dos resultados. Todos os produtos ser\u00e3o integrados num prot\u00f3tipo para demonstrar a aplicabilidade industrial no setor da constru\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica.
